The Department rof Botany was granted permission to conduct courses by the university in 2019. Since the MSc (Botany) academic program began in 2020, the Department of Botany has been progressing toward its goal. Due to its efficiency, the department has consistently achieved new heights. Last year, two students were included in the university's merit list. This year, with the gold medal, the department is committed not only to education but also to all-round development. In this regard, the department has established itself in the college and university through its activities in entrepreneurship, NEP, research, workshops, innovation, employment, educational tours, and extracurricular activities. In this context, three students have also been included in the merit list this year. The department has a departmental library and lab, where students can gain practical knowledge.
This is the result of the hard work and discipline of all the members and students of the department. I hope this continuity will continue and the department will always move forward towards its goal.
